My reservation was canceled without any notification—even though it was already paid for. Airbnb showed no concern or offered any solution to fix the situation. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and have even referred others to the platform. I never imagined I’d be treated so poorly.
Now, I’m left with no choice but to share my experience. If I had been the one to cancel, I would’ve been charged a 50% fee. Yet when Airbnb canceled on me, their response was essentially, “Too bad, deal with it.” I was told to wait 10 days for my $800 refund and then just book again—knowing full well that the next reservation could also be canceled without warning. Unbelievable and deeply disappointing!
