I just wanted to share my recent experience with Asda George online, and honestly, someone needs to hold them accountable! Many people, including myself, are frustrated because we can’t even get our money back. My last order was in October 2024, and I never received the parcel. When I contacted Asda, they claimed they didn’t have it. I tried to get a refund, but nothing came of it. It was only £30, so I eventually gave up.
What made it worse was the customer service experience. I was directed to a call centre (possibly in Africa), and they asked for my bank details. I decided it was better to lose £30 than to share sensitive information. In the past, refunds were always processed automatically without needing bank details, especially since I paid with the same card. This whole ordeal has put me off online shopping for good. No more Asda George for me!
