My experience with Cleartrip was profoundly disappointing. I made a confirmed, prepaid hotel booking through their platform, yet upon arrival, the hotel had no record of receiving payment. Despite presenting my confirmation, I was forced to pay for the room a second time to avoid being left without accommodation.
My attempts to reach Cleartrip's customer support for immediate assistance were completely unsuccessful; no timely resolution was provided. This failure is utterly unacceptable. Being compelled to pay twice not only created significant stress but also added unexpected expenses, severely undermining my trip.
I strongly advise against using Cleartrip. The risk of being stranded without a room or losing your money is unacceptably high. I am still attempting to secure a refund, making this one of the worst travel booking experiences I have ever encountered.
