This is the second time I’ve raised a complaint with DoorDash, and their generic email responses only add insult to injury. I have a severe capsicum allergy that can lead to anaphylaxis, and I clearly noted this when placing my order. Despite this, the food arrived loaded with capsicum. Thankfully, I had my EpiPen on hand.

When I emailed DoorDash with my complaint and included photos of the food, they responded by demanding proof of a hospital visit to even consider a refund. Without such evidence, they denied my request. I’m absolutely appalled by this response, especially when compared to the excellent service and support provided by Uber Eats. Disgusting and unacceptable!
