As first-time Umrah pilgrims, we were initially quite anxious, but Haramain Travels turned it into the most seamless and spiritually fulfilling journey. A special thanks to Ilyas Bhai, who answered our countless questions with immense patience and professionalism.
The package was comprehensive, covering 5-night stays in both Makkah and Madinah (with breakfast), all airport transfers, travel between cities, and enlightening Ziyarat tours. Everything was perfectly coordinated.
What truly set them apart was their exceptional support. When I had an eSIM issue, Ilyas Bhai resolved it in seconds. The local staff in both holy cities were incredibly friendly, polite, and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort.
Our hotels were conveniently located near the Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi, which was a huge blessing. I am so grateful I trusted them instead of managing it alone. They handle everything, so you can truly just pack and go. I will undoubtedly book my next Umrah with them, In shaa Allah. Highly recommended!
Alhamdulillah, the entire Umrah trip went smoothly from start to finish. I travelled with two wheelchairs and a toddler buggy, and everything was made easy. The hotels were very close by, wheelchair-friendly, and the staff were welcoming. Rooms were exactly as described—clean, tidy, and spacious. All transport, including ziyarah, was well organised with no issues. The guides in both Makkah and Madinah were honest, reliable, and very supportive. I would highly recommend this service for families. Barak’Allahu feek.
Uzbekistan 7-Day Tour (August 2025): The itinerary was well-planned with comfortable hotels and reliable transport, but it felt too packed for my liking. I wasn’t made fully aware of how busy the schedule would be, and the group could be more transparent about this in their posters. The tour should also be promoted as a spiritual journey, since the posters gave the impression of a more balanced holiday.
To their credit, the organisers tried to cater to everyone’s interests by adding free time at bazaars and including hotels with leisure facilities, but the packed schedule meant we couldn’t really enjoy them. After returning, I understood why not much time was allocated at the bazaars. Many sellers and taxi drivers inflated prices by 8–10 times, and only a few unique items were worth buying locally. Much of the jewellery, clothing, and spices could be found elsewhere at similar or better quality for a fairer price. For example, I was sold marigold while being told it was Uzbek saffron, and another shopkeeper tried to pass off sheep’s wool slippers as camel hair.
Another improvement would be preparing travellers for the invasive and demeaning airport “security checks,” so expectations are clear from the start. Overall, Haramain Tours took care of its travellers and provided good variety in accommodation, food, and transport. However, greater transparency is needed regarding the nature of the tour, last-minute hotel changes, local scams, airport checks, and closed ziyaraat.
