I placed an order for flowers on April 3rd, requesting delivery on April 5th , my mum’s 50th birthday. The order confirmation clearly stated the 5th as the delivery date. However, the flowers didn’t arrive until April 7th, two days after her birthday, completely missing the point of the gift.
When I reached out to customer service, they first blamed the delivery location and offered to refund just the shipping cost. After I pushed back, citing the Consumer Rights Act, they changed their story entirely and claimed they never guarantee delivery dates at all, even though their checkout process lets you select a specific date and their confirmation email confirms it.
So either they’re offering a delivery date they know they can’t guarantee (which is misleading), or they can guarantee it but simply failed to meet it or notify me in advance. Either way, I wouldn’t trust this company with any time-sensitive gift.
There was no proactive communication about the delay, no real resolution offered , just copy-paste replies and shifting excuses.
If you need a gift to arrive on a specific day, look elsewhere.
