Hobdens have managed a storage unit for our elderly father for many years. When he was able, he enjoyed visiting in person to pay by cheque because he liked them and appreciated their kindness. Now that he is in a care home, Hobdens have shown the same kindness and consideration to my sister and me. They have gone above and beyond, providing a truly personal service and supporting us through a very difficult time. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
At 81, moving home after losing my partner and enduring five stressful months of conveyancing was daunting – but Hobdens turned out to be my absolute salvation.
From the initial quote to the final box being unpacked, their professionalism and efficiency provided the stress-free experience I desperately needed. The real stars were Sam P and Jamie, whose punctuality, expertise and kindness shone through every step of the way. They handled loading, transport and placement with exceptional care – nothing was ever too much trouble.
In what had been an emotionally exhausting chapter, Hobdens stood out as the only seamless, worry-free service throughout my entire relocation. Their outstanding approach makes me wish more companies operated to such high standards. If you're moving, look no further – this is how it should be done
From beginning to end, Hobdens delivered a first-class service. It started with an initial visit to assess the scale of the removal, followed by a detailed email outlining costs, insurance, and next steps, which arrived promptly. On the day, the team did not disappoint—they arrived on time and got straight to work. They were polite, friendly, efficient, and, most importantly, treated all of our belongings with great care and respect (and there was a lot of it!). Everything was placed in the correct rooms, and no request was too much trouble. A huge thank you to Sam P, Jamie L, Matt C, and Lewis for their outstanding service—you were fantastic! :)
Hobdens, a removal and storage company based in Clevedon, North Somerset, provided outstanding service when handling my recent move. In November 2023, they collected items from my property on Yeolands Drive, Clevedon, and stored them securely until today, Friday, 5 July—the same day Keir Starmer replaced Rishi Sunak as Prime Minister following the national election results.
The Hobdens van arrived punctually at 10:00 AM, and two employees, Alex and Lewis, cheerfully and professionally delivered my belongings. They placed everything exactly where I requested—in the garage (now my new man cave) and the main property.
The service from Hobdens was excellent, with polite, hardworking staff. The cost of storage was fantastic value and exceeded my expectations. I have no affiliation with Hobdens, but I highly recommend giving them a quick call for a quote—you won’t be disappointed!
