I’m sharing my experience with the refund process after booking a trip to Bhutan through In Saddle Adventure / ANASTAZIA ANN 安娜🇬🇪🇨🇳 (@anastazzzia_).
I paid $4,350 for the trip. It was canceled two days before the start due to weather conditions, while I was already in Kathmandu. I understand that weather is beyond anyone’s control, so this isn’t a review of the cancellation itself.
After that, I opted for a full refund. I was told it would take about 14 to 20 working days. Instead, the process dragged on for over six months, and I had to follow up many times to get my money back. The amount was returned in partial payments rather than one lump sum, which made the situation stressful and emotionally exhausting.
I never actually went on one of their trips, so I can’t speak to that experience. I’m simply sharing my personal experience with the refund process.
I’m relieved it’s finally resolved, but based on what I went through, I’d advise others to do thorough research before booking with any agency.
