Kalshi appears to be engaging in questionable practices, particularly with its weather contracts. There are clear indications of manipulation, raising concerns about the integrity of the platform. For instance, I observed a consistent pattern where the reported temperature “spiked” by 1 degree for exactly two minutes every hour, eight times in a row, during a specific period. This conveniently adjusted the odds just enough to influence outcomes, particularly within 30 minutes of midnight. Such precision hardly seems random.
Additionally, the cash-out values did not align with the actual live odds, suggesting prior knowledge of the outcome. These inconsistencies undermine the credibility of the platform.
While Kalshi promotes itself as transparent, there are evident shady practices that users should be cautious about.
