Everyone knows we’re Lidl on price. But let’s talk about what we’re Big on. We’re Big on Quality. Big on the big shop. Big on everything that matters most. Big on filling cupboards, bellies, and lives with the good stuff. Big on detergent that whitens your socks and cheese that’ll blow them off. Big on carrots with a crunch and chillies with a kick. Big on global cuisine and locally sourced meat. Big on brands, biscuits, baby essentials, bicycle pumps, and butter. We’re Big on everything—except price. That’s where we’ll always stay Lidl.

Jamila   11 months ago Yardley, Birmingham, UK Name: Tomato Soup       Price: £0.49       Purchased 11 months ago from Yardley, Birmingham, UK

I used to my favourite tomato soup from Aldi and then I found out Lidl are selling the same product. It wasn't as good as Aldi soup but it's OK. Last week I came across one pack that smells bad and the taste was horrible. It's not a big deal, but your should fix your soups Lidl!

Since I move to Yardley 6 years ago, I always use Lidl for my weekly shopping. There is a Tesco in Swan Centre, close to me than Lidl but I prefer Lidl. The middle Aisle is always a fun place to find and buy things I never needed. The bakery is top class, way better than Tesco, Morrisons and Asda.

I recommend Lidl ( UK)

I stopped by Lidl on my way home for a few essentials, and as always, I’m impressed with their great prices and the quality of their produce. The store layout is easy to navigate, and of course, I couldn’t pass up the bakery—always a highlight!

While there, I had to check out the middle aisle bargains (a must for any guy left unsupervised in Lidl). With no one to rush me or say "no," I browsed to my heart’s content. I spotted plenty of tempting items I wanted but didn’t need, like a chainsaw (though I doubt my wife would have approved!). However, I did pick up a milk frother, which was a necessity—and let me tell you, it’s a game changer! For just £9 or £19.99, it’s an absolute steal and something I now can’t live without.

Another highlight was a fire pit, something my wife and I have been searching for over the past couple of years. After sending her a few pictures, we finally agreed on one—hallelujah! It’s sturdy with metal-framed legs to protect our year-old decking, a practical ledge around the edge, and a cast-iron pit with a metal grate lid. At just £49.99, it was an easy decision, and we’re thrilled with it.

I really appreciate Lidl’s middle aisle. Like some of their competitors, they change the selection weekly, but what sets them apart is how organized and tidy it all is. Every Lidl store I’ve visited has been clean and well-maintained, and this particular location, being relatively new, is especially impressive. It’s a stark contrast to their nearby competitor, whose cluttered aisles and messy presentation leave much to be desired.

Overall, Lidl offers fantastic value, a pleasant shopping experience, and those unexpected treasures in the middle aisle. I highly recommend this store—and Lidl in general—for anyone after quality groceries and great deals on everyday items.

I recommend Lidl
