I tried to rebook a ticket that costed my £137 for another flight to Tunis from Gatwick costing only £75 and at the end they asked to pay extra £50! This is plain robbery. I don't recommend Nouvelair if you find an alternative - which is is even worse ( Tunisair). Why all Tunisian airlines are crooks?

In terms of punctuality, Nouvelair is better than Tunisair. The flight from Tunis to Gatwick South Terminal was late about 3 hours. They said it was due to operational issue with the plane and they had to get another one.

I think they are a decent alternative in terms of price and service to the shambolic Tunisair

I’ve flown with Nouvelair multiple times, around eight trips in total, and I can confidently say the airline is safe. Both takeoffs and landings are smooth. On the four flights I took from Monastir, all were punctual, and one even arrived in Germany 10 minutes ahead of schedule!

However, on the 4–5 flights I took from Tunis to Germany, two experienced significant delays of 5–6 hours, requiring a long wait at the airport.

Overall, based on my experience, the airline is safe, and the crew is very friendly and welcoming. If you’re tall or have a larger build, I highly recommend booking an exit row seat for extra comfort. Additionally, if you’re flying from Tunis, avoid scheduling important commitments—like work meetings, doctor’s appointments, or interviews—immediately after your flight, just in case of delays.

I had a terrible experience and will never use this company again. The plane was dirty, and onboard purchases were frustrating—you can only use a card if you spend more than £5. When I paid with cash, they couldn’t give me proper change, handing me a mix of pounds and euro coins instead, which was ridiculous.

In 2024, there’s still no online check-in, which is shocking. To make matters worse, my return flight from Tunis was cancelled without any prior notification—I only found out at the airport. I was left stranded for 26 hours waiting for the next flight, with no accommodation, food, or assistance provided.

Customer service and staff at the airport and on the plane were rude and unhelpful. This was the worst travel experience I’ve ever had. I strongly urge others to avoid booking flights with this company.

After reading some reviews, I was expecting the worst, but they exceeded my expectations. Check-in was smooth on both legs of the journey, the flights were on time, and the aircraft was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I will definitely fly with them again—they’re far more efficient than Tunis Air and cost half the price!

I recommend Nouvelair
