I sent a tracked, signed-for parcel to a family member in the UK on December 3rd. Despite the recipient being at home, the tracking repeatedly showed a "delivery attempted" with no card left. After two failed re-delivery requests via the online system, I called customer service. They assured me the parcel would be delivered on December 18th, but the tracking never updated and the parcel never arrived.
I then filed a lost parcel claim, but the online form is inadequate, it limits evidence uploads and doesn't allow for necessary explanations. Meanwhile, in early January, the tracking updated to show the parcel was being returned to me. It finally arrived back at my house on January 21st, nearly eight weeks after posting.
I have paid for a service that failed at every stage. My compensation claim, which should have been resolved within 30 days, has gone unanswered. I am now left with no choice but to escalate the matter formally to secure a refund for this undelivered item and seek out a more reliable courier.
