I popped into the Leeds store to buy a white tuxedo, trousers, and shirt. I was still in my work gear—building boots and all—as I’d been busy and, as usual, left things until the last minute. Despite my appearance, the service was fantastic.

They didn’t have a pair of trousers in my size (32 waist, 32 leg) but assured me they could get some in by the following week. However, since I was leaving for a cruise on Tuesday, they went above and beyond by taking trousers from another suit for me.

When I got home, I found they were a bit tight, so I returned on Sunday. The assistant measured me with the trousers on and noticed they only needed an extra inch, making them a 33 waist. They quickly altered them on the spot, and within ten minutes, I was on my way with a perfect fit. I left happy and will definitely shop there again. Thank you!

visited Slaters men's shop in Reading for the first time today, and I was thoroughly impressed—so much so that I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The selection was fantastic, the prices were highly competitive, and the customer service was outstanding—something that’s unfortunately rare to find these days. The gentleman who assisted me was exceptional, providing top-notch service, as did the lady at the checkout.

The entire experience far exceeded my expectations and put stores like Marks & Spencer and John Lewis to shame. Well done, Slaters! You’re doing an amazing job, and you’ve managed to impress someone who is not easily impressed. Keep up the great work!
